is Barcelona tours section, where I offer some
unique suggestions for experiencing the real Barcelona.
Remember, all of my tours are private and highly personal.
So, the following descriptions should be seen as only
a few of infinite possibilities. I encourage you to propose
a personal twist on any of my existing routes. Or, together,
we can design a new route just for you!
In order to bring you into closer contact with real city
life during each tour, I ususally stick to the following
guidelines:
• To get around, we use our feet, bikes, or public transportation.
• We remain on the city streets, or in its parks and plazas, as opposed to waiting in lines and traipsing through the insides of monuments which are easily visited on your own.
• We stop along the way for
a coffee or snack, a sip of wine 'tapas' and beer, 'churros
con chocolate', or a homemade 'horchata'.
• After the tour ends, I like to follow it up with a lunch or dinner stop at a small, local joint of my choice.
