Hi. I'm Jordan
I arrived in Barcelona in 2000, without a work
visa, and with only one Catalan acquaintance. Since then,
I've lived in many of the city's distinct 'barrios', learned
its unique language, attended its festivals, traipsed
through its museums and monuments, studied its past and
politics, shopped in its open markets and neighbourhood
stores, dined in its most charming courtyards and smokiest
bars, worked in its largest corporations and smallest
mom n' pop operations, and of course, befriended and fallen
in love with more than a few of its people along the way,
many of whom have taken me into their homes and treated
me as part of their families.
I've lived true Catalan Life, and now I want to share
it with you.
